Recently, the evaluation results of the Journal Development Foundation Project (the second phase) of the Chinese Preventive Medicine Association were announced, with the Journal of Tropical Diseases and Parasitology being selected for the "Journal Development Support Program".
Established in 2019 by the Chinese Preventive Medicine Association, the Journal Development Foundation Project aims to enhance the core competitiveness and sustainable development capabilities of its affiliated journals. The project comprises two categories: the "Elite Journal Cultivation Project" and the "Journal Development Support Project", each with a three-year cycle. In this round of selection, through a rigorous process including voluntary application, formal review, quantitative evaluation, expert appraisal, and public announcement, JTDP was among 3 journals selected for the "Elite Journal Cultivation Project", while 6 journals were chosen for the "Journal Development Support Project".
