Abstract: Loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP) is a molecular biology diagnostic technology developed in the past few years, with simplicity, sensitivity, specificity and practicability, and has been widely used in the diagnosis of human and animal parasitic diseases. This article aims at describing the application of LAMP technology to detecting protozoa, nematodes, flukes, tapeworm infections.
