Abstract: Objective To analyze the correlation between the torsion angle of left ventricular and LVEF、FS、MAM displacement, and probe the clinical value to evaluate left ventricular function. Methods 89 cases, including 50 patients with LVEF >50% and 39 patients with LVEF<50%, were selected in the study. FS and mitral MAM displacement were measured by M-mode echocardiography, LVEF was measured by Simpson’s, the torsion angle of left ventricular was measured by two-dimensional gray-scale echocardiography. Results All the torsion angles was between 2.0 degree and 13.4 degree, the mean torsion angle was 7.73±3.76 degree. LVEF、FS、MAM displacement and the torsion angle of left ventricular were obviously lower in group with LVEF<50% than that in normal contrast group (P<0.001). The torsion angle of left ventricular was correlated with LVEF、FS 、MAM displacement significantly(P <0.001). Conclusions The torsion angle of left ventricular can be used to evaluate left ventricular general systolic function.
