Abstract: At the end of 2019,an unforeseen outbreak of COVID-19 brought about postponing start of Spring semester in 2020 across higher learning institutions in China. In answer to the guideline of “postponement of school without suspension of learning” issued by Ministry of Education,we moved the classrooms online in teaching Medical Parasitology based on the Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) platform for Chinese universities. In this paper, we explored the application of this instruction mode, including the teaching preparation, teaching design, teaching process, formative test, instruction of the experiment,case-based learning, and proportion of the learning assignments in final examination, with an attempt to offer references to our peers in online instruction of Medical Parasitology.
