Abstract:

Recombinase aided amplification (RAA) represents a rapid nucleic acid amplification technique that operates under isothermal conditions with the assistance of recombinase enzymes, featuring short reaction time, simple operation, high sensitivity and specificity, without the need for expensive instruments or equipment. This article systematically outlines the principles of RAA technology, detecting methods for the amplified products, its advantages and limitations, derivatization techniques, as well as its applications in the detection of parasitic diseases such as malaria, kala-azar, angiostrongyliasis cantonensis, schistosomiasis japonica, and echinococcosis, so as to provide a reference for wider recommendation of this technology.
