This paper described the measures in prevention and control of schistosomiasis and effects achieved in China in terms of the tertiary prevention at individual level, with the expectation that an effective network on tertiary prevention basis can be consolidated, and the lessons can be drawn from this summary for reference in elimination of schistosomiasis in coming years.
