Abstract: In order to satisfy the needs of prevention and control of human infection with animal influenza in the new era in China,and improve the ability and capacity in response to influenza pandemic,the National Health Commission issued the Technical Guidelines for Prevention and Control of Human Infection With Animal Influenza (For trial) in July 2021. This paper aims to elaborate the guidelines with regard to influenza A virus and its variation,animal influenza virus and its pathogenicity as well as the pandemic,with an attempt to provide reference for administrations at all levels in implementation of the prevention and control of human infection with animal influenza in scientific and orderly fashion.
