Abstract:

Objective  To understand the disinfection status for the public articles and evaluate hygienic quality in public places in Zhuzhou, and provide scientific basis for supervision and management. Methods  According to technical regulations of hygienic supervision in public places (GB/T17220-1998) and standard examination methods for public places (GB/T18204-2000), samples on 3 kinds of public articles in 3 different public place were collected and tested,then analyzed evaluated by hotels health standard (GB9663-1996), cultural entertainment health standard ( GB9664-1996), and the bathhouse health standard (GB9665-1996). Results  A total of 3399 public articles were monitored in the 3 years, with the average qualified rate of 98.4%. The qualified rate was 98.8%, 98.1% and 98.1%, respectively, from 2010 to 2012. There was no significant difference (χ2 = 2.87, P > 0.05) in the years. The qualified rate of disinfection for public supplies in hotels, public bathroom, cultural entertainment was 98.9%, 97.5% and 94.5%, respectively, with significant difference (χ2 = 42.93, P < 0.01). Conclusions  The hygienic status in the entertainment places was not optimistic, and supervision and monitoring should be strengthened to improve the hygienic quality in public places in Zhuzhou city.
